Our first look at Evermore Orlando Resort, Evermore Bay, the accommodations, dining, and what we think about the value after visiting.
Evermore Orlando Resort is one of those places that makes you stop and look.
We recently visited Evermore for Magical Dining at Twin View, and while we were there, we spent time looking around the resort and getting a feel for what makes this Orlando destination different.
The property is large, beautiful, and definitely not a typical hotel.
But there was one question I kept coming back to:
Is Evermore Orlando Resort really worth the price?
Our visit was not an overnight stay, so this is not a full stay review. It is our first look based on what we personally saw, experienced, photographed, and researched. When we eventually stay here with multiple families, we’ll come back with a much deeper review.
What Makes Evermore Orlando Different?
Evermore is designed around a different idea of an Orlando vacation.
Instead of putting everyone into separate traditional hotel rooms, the resort offers large vacation houses, four-bedroom Flats, two- and four-bedroom villas, and the Conrad Orlando hotel.
The houses range from five to 11 bedrooms and can accommodate groups of up to 32 people. The Flats have four bedrooms and can accommodate up to 11 guests.
That changes the equation.
A large family or group can stay together while still having separate bedrooms and bathrooms, common living areas, kitchens, outdoor space, and—in many houses—private pools.
For a large group, that can be much more interesting than booking several conventional hotel rooms.
But it can also become expensive.
And that’s where the value question gets interesting.
Our First Impression
The first thing that stood out to us was the scale.
Evermore feels more like a vacation neighborhood than a traditional resort.
There are different sizes of homes and accommodations spread throughout the property, so walking around doesn’t feel like walking through one giant hotel building.
Instead, you get the feeling that you’re staying in your own vacation community.
And then there’s the water.
Evermore Bay Looks Almost Like a Sea
This was probably the biggest visual surprise for us.
Evermore Bay covers 8 acres of water surrounded by 20 acres of white-sand beach. The resort describes it as Orlando’s private beach experience, and it is certainly much larger than what most people picture when they hear the word “pool.”
Standing there in person, I understood why the lagoon is such a major part of the Evermore experience.
It really does look almost like a small sea.
Overnight guests can use the bay, including activities such as kayaking and paddleboarding. The resort also offers a waterslide, rope swing, swimming areas and other water activities.
One important point:
Evermore Bay is not a public day-pass attraction.
You need to be an overnight resort guest to use the resort’s main amenities. However, non-guests can visit for certain reservations, including participating restaurants, Conrad Spa and golf.
That distinction matters if you’re thinking about simply visiting Evermore for the day.
The Accommodations Are Really About Groups
This is where I think Evermore becomes most interesting.
If you’re traveling alone, as a couple, or as one small family, you have plenty of Orlando alternatives.
But imagine several families traveling together.
Instead of booking:
- Hotel room 1
- Hotel room 2
- Hotel room 3
- Hotel room 4
- Another room for grandparents
you could potentially put everyone under one roof.
Evermore’s larger houses are specifically designed for this kind of vacation.
The resort says its houses include fully equipped kitchens, private heated pools, outdoor areas, grills and laundry facilities.
That’s a completely different vacation model from a normal hotel.
And This Is Where Cost-Sharing Can Change Everything
This is one of the biggest questions I would ask before booking Evermore.
Don’t just look at the total price. Look at the price per family or per person.
For example, a large house that sounds extremely expensive when viewed as one reservation could become more reasonable when several families divide the cost.
But that’s only part of the calculation.
You also have to consider:
- Number of nights
- Number of people
- Resort fees or other mandatory charges
- Taxes
- Food
- Premium activities
- Golf
- Cabana rentals
- Transportation
- Theme-park tickets
- Optional services
That is why I would never judge Evermore simply by looking at the advertised nightly rate.
The total trip cost is what matters.
What About Food?
Evermore currently lists 14 restaurants and bars, including full-service restaurants, casual dining, grab-and-go options, and bars and lounges.
And yes, you can eat at Evermore without staying overnight.
The resort says restaurants such as Twin View are open to the public with reservations.
That’s actually how we experienced Evermore.
Our visit was connected to Magical Dining at Twin View, which gave us a reason to see the resort for ourselves.

Is Everything Included?
No.
And this is important when calculating the real cost.
Evermore is not simply an all-inclusive vacation where you pay one price and everything else disappears.
Standard resort amenities are part of the guest experience, but dining and beverages are separate. Premium experiences can also cost extra.
For example, Evermore offers premium options such as private cabanas and boat experiences.
Golf is another consideration.
Evermore has two Jack Nicklaus-designed courses, but golf isn’t simply free because you’re staying at the resort. Resort guests receive preferred rates and advance booking benefits. The public can also play.
So if golf is part of your vacation plan, put that into your budget.
What We Thought Was Most Interesting
For us, the biggest attraction wasn’t necessarily the luxury label.
It was the concept.
The idea of putting several families together in one large vacation home while still giving everyone personal space is genuinely interesting.
You can have:
- A shared kitchen
- A large living room
- Multiple bedrooms
- Multiple bathrooms
- Laundry
- Outdoor space
- A private pool in many houses
- Access to the larger resort amenities
That could work extremely well for a multigenerational vacation or a group of friends.
And Evermore’s recent guest reviews reinforce that this group-oriented model is one of the property’s strongest selling points.
But Is It Worth It for One Family?
This is where my answer becomes more cautious.
I wouldn’t automatically say yes.
If you’re one family looking for a place to stay in Orlando, there are many choices.
Evermore is selling more than a room.
You’re paying for space, privacy, resort amenities, the lagoon, the setting, and the ability to vacation together as a larger group.
If you don’t need all of that, the value proposition changes.
For a single small family, I would compare the total Evermore cost against other Orlando resorts and vacation rentals before booking.
For a large group, however, the calculation can look very different.
What About the Price?
Prices change depending on dates, accommodation type, availability and promotions.
Recent booking listings show just how wide that range can be, with four-bedroom Flats and larger accommodations varying considerably depending on the dates and view. Additional fees and taxes can also affect the final bill.
That’s why I don’t want to give you one “Evermore price” and pretend that’s what everyone will pay.
There isn’t one price.
The smarter approach is to compare the complete reservation total for your specific dates.
And this is exactly where a group should do the math.
A Simple Way to Calculate the Value
Take the total accommodation cost.
Then divide it by:
Number of nights → number of families → number of people
For example, imagine a hypothetical $4,000 accommodation bill for two nights.
Four families splitting it evenly would mean:
$4,000 ÷ 4 = $1,000 per family
That still isn’t cheap.
But it’s a very different conversation from saying:
“The house costs $2,000 per night.”
Then you can decide whether the space and experience justify that amount.
That’s how I would evaluate Evermore.
What Did We Think After Visiting?
Here’s where I want to be completely honest.
I liked Evermore.
It’s beautiful.
The property is impressive.
The concept is different.
And Evermore Bay is something you don’t see at a typical Orlando hotel.
But because we were visiting rather than staying overnight, I don’t think it would be fair for me to say, “Yes, this is absolutely worth every dollar.”
We haven’t experienced the full overnight experience yet.
We haven’t cooked in one of the houses.
We haven’t slept there.
We haven’t spent several days using the resort amenities.
We haven’t divided the cost among multiple families.
So I’m not going to pretend we have.
Our Current Take
After seeing Evermore for ourselves, I understand why large groups like it.
But personally, I would want to see the numbers before booking.
And as someone who naturally looks at cost versus experience, that’s the part that matters most to me.
Is Evermore beautiful?
Yes.
Is the concept interesting?
Absolutely.
Could it make sense for multiple families sharing the cost?
Yes, potentially.
Would I automatically choose it over every other Orlando vacation option?
No.
And that’s not a criticism of Evermore.
It’s simply how I look at travel.
Who Is Evermore Best For?
Based on what we’ve seen and what the resort offers, I think Evermore makes the most sense for:
Large families
If several generations are traveling together, having everyone under one roof can be a major advantage.
Multiple families
This may be the strongest use case.
Splitting a large accommodation among several families can change the value calculation.
Friends traveling together
If you have a large group that wants shared spaces without sacrificing bedrooms and privacy, Evermore is worth investigating.
Travelers who want more than theme parks
Evermore Bay gives guests a reason to spend time at the resort rather than treating the property simply as a place to sleep.
Golfers
The property is connected to two Jack Nicklaus-designed courses, making golf another part of the experience.
Who Might Want to Think Twice?
I’d be more cautious if you’re:
- Traveling alone
- Traveling as a couple
- A small family that doesn’t need a large residence
- Mainly looking for the lowest-cost Orlando accommodation
- Planning to spend almost all your time at Disney or Universal
- Unlikely to use the resort amenities
In those situations, you’re paying for features you may not fully use.
Evermore vs. a Traditional Orlando Hotel
This isn’t really an apples-to-apples comparison.
A traditional hotel generally gives you a room.
Evermore can give a large group an entire vacation home plus access to resort amenities.
That’s why comparing the nightly rate alone can be misleading.
The better question is:
What am I getting for the total money I’m spending?
If you need five hotel rooms, Evermore becomes more interesting.
If you need one hotel room, the calculation may go the other way.
Our Future Evermore Test
This isn’t the end of our Evermore story.
We eventually want to return with multiple families and actually stay.
That’s when we’ll be able to answer the questions we can’t answer from one visit:
- How comfortable are the houses?
- How does the kitchen work for a large group?
- How much does food really cost?
- How much time do you actually spend at Evermore Bay?
- Are the activities enough to keep everyone entertained?
- What does the resort feel like after several days?
- How easy is it to divide the cost?
- What does the final bill look like?
- And most importantly…
Would we do it again?
That will be the real Evermore test.

Final Thoughts: Would I Stay at Evermore?
I’m glad we went.
Evermore is beautiful, unusual, and different from a typical Orlando resort.
But I don’t think the right question is simply:
“Is Evermore expensive?”
The better question is:
“Does Evermore give my group enough value for what we’re paying?”
For a large family or several families traveling together, I can see the appeal.
For a smaller group, I’d compare carefully.
For us, the next step is simple.
We need to actually stay there.
Then we’ll know.
