If you enjoy good food and happen to be in Central Florida at the right time of year, there is one dining event worth knowing about: Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining®.
We have been going to Magical Dining for years, and one of the things we like most is that it gives us an excuse to try restaurants we might not normally choose.
And sometimes, those restaurants are seriously upscale.
This year, for example, we tried Twin View at Evermore Orlando Resort for the first time. We took our own photos and experienced the restaurant ourselves, which is exactly the kind of firsthand travel experience we want to share here on Traveluss.
What Is Magical Dining?
Magical Dining is an annual Orlando-area restaurant promotion organized by Visit Orlando.
For a limited time, participating restaurants offer a three-course prix-fixe dinner menu for a set price.
In 2026, restaurants are offering menus at $40 or $60 per person, before tax and gratuity. The program runs from August 14 through September 30.
The interesting part is the range of restaurants.
This isn’t simply an opportunity to find inexpensive dinner.
The lineup includes:
- Upscale restaurants
- Resort restaurants
- Award-winning local restaurants
- Celebrity-chef restaurants
- MICHELIN Guide-recognized restaurants
- New restaurants participating for the first time
- Longtime Magical Dining favorites
That makes Magical Dining appealing to both Orlando visitors and people who already live in Central Florida.
Where Is Magical Dining Available?
Despite the name, Magical Dining isn’t restricted to Orlando city limits.
It is an Orlando-area dining program, with participating restaurants spread across different communities and dining districts around Central Florida.
The official restaurant directory allows visitors to search participating restaurants by area and neighborhood, as well as price and dietary preferences.
That means you can choose a restaurant near your hotel, attraction, neighborhood or planned evening out instead of driving across the entire Orlando area.
Some Very High-End Restaurants Participate
This is one of the reasons we keep coming back.
Magical Dining isn’t just about finding a discounted meal. It can be an opportunity to experience restaurants that might normally be outside your dining plans.
The 2026 program includes 15 MICHELIN Guide-recognized restaurants.
Even more interesting, ÔMO by Jônt became the first MICHELIN-starred restaurant ever to participate in Magical Dining, offering a $60 menu. Other participating MICHELIN-recognized restaurants include Bib Gourmand and MICHELIN Recommended establishments.
For food lovers, that’s a pretty good reason to look through the menus before choosing where to make a reservation.
Our Twin View Experience
One of our 2026 Magical Dining experiences was Twin View at Evermore Orlando Resort.
This was our first time trying Twin View, and that’s exactly what makes the experience worth documenting for Traveluss.
We weren’t relying on somebody else’s restaurant review.
We were there.
We took our own photographs, experienced the setting, ordered from the Magical Dining menu and got to see what the restaurant was actually like.
That gives us the opportunity to tell you what we thought rather than simply repeating information from a restaurant website.

Is Magical Dining a Good Deal?
That depends on the restaurant and what you normally spend on dinner.
The $40 and $60 prices cover the special three-course Magical Dining menu, but tax and gratuity are extra. Drinks, upgrades and other items may also cost more, depending on the restaurant.
So don’t look at the advertised price as your final restaurant bill.
Instead, look at the menu.
Check the available appetizers, entrées and desserts. Then ask yourself:
Would I normally pay this much for this type of meal?
That’s a much better way to judge the value.
Make Reservations Early
This is one lesson we would pass along to anyone trying Magical Dining for the first time.
Don’t wait until the last minute for the restaurants you really want to try.
Popular restaurants can fill their preferred dinner times quickly. Visit Orlando itself recommends making reservations early.
If you’re planning several Magical Dining dinners, make a short list first.
Choose your favorites.
Check the menus.
Then reserve the dates and times that work for you.
Magical Dining Is More Than Dinner
Another thing we like about the event is that you can turn dinner into part of a larger Orlando evening.
Have dinner before a show.
Plan a date night.
Combine it with a hotel stay.
Meet friends.
Or simply choose a restaurant you’ve wanted to try but never had a reason to visit.
Visit Orlando also runs Magical Nights, which offers participating hotel and resort deals that can be combined with Magical Dining for a getaway.
For visitors coming from outside the Orlando area, that can turn a restaurant reservation into a short Central Florida trip.
It Also Supports Local Causes
There is another reason we like the program.
Magical Dining supports local nonprofit organizations.
In 2026, $1 from each $40 meal and $2 from each $60 meal goes toward supporting OCA (Opportunity, Community, Ability) and other local organizations. Visit Orlando says the program has raised nearly $3.3 million for local nonprofits to date.
So while you’re enjoying dinner, part of your meal is helping support the local community.
How We Choose Our Magical Dining Restaurants
After doing this for years, we’ve learned not to choose a restaurant simply because the name sounds impressive.
We look at the actual menu.
Then we consider:
What do we want to try?
Sometimes that’s a restaurant we’ve never visited.
Sometimes it’s somewhere we’ve heard about for years.
And sometimes the restaurant itself is part of the experience.
That’s what happened with Twin View.
For us, Magical Dining is a good excuse to get out, try something different and create another Traveluss experience.
A Few Tips for First-Time Visitors
If this is your first Magical Dining experience, keep these things in mind:
- Check the current menu before booking.
- Remember that tax and gratuity are additional.
- Reserve early for popular restaurants.
- Check the restaurant’s location before choosing it.
- Look at the $40 and $60 options rather than assuming the cheaper menu is automatically better value.
- Check dietary options if needed.
- Don’t forget to look at dessert choices.
- Consider making dinner part of a larger Orlando evening.

Why We Keep Going Back
For us, that’s really what Magical Dining has become.
It’s not just about getting a three-course meal for a set price.
It’s about trying somewhere new.
It’s about finding restaurants we may have overlooked.
It’s about having another reason to spend an evening together.
And sometimes, like our first visit to Twin View at Evermore, it’s about experiencing a place we may never have chosen without Magical Dining.
