Looking for a relaxing place to spend an afternoon in Central Florida? We recently visited the new Crooked Can Brewing Company location in Minneola to see what it offers. Here’s what we experienced and what you should know before planning your visit.
Our First Impression
Our visit took place on a busy weekend shortly after the new location opened. Even before reaching the entrance, it was clear the brewery had already become a popular gathering place.
Although there were plenty of visitors, the property never felt overcrowded. Wide walkways, open green space, and thoughtful landscaping gave everyone room to enjoy the day at their own pace.
The atmosphere felt welcoming from the moment we arrived.
More Than Just a Brewery
One of the first things that stood out was the large outdoor lawn.
Instead of seeing people simply stopping in for a drink, we watched families relaxing on picnic blankets, children running across the grass, couples taking a walk, and groups of friends enjoying the afternoon together.
The setting feels more like a community gathering place than a traditional brewery.
If you’re visiting with children, the open lawn provides plenty of space to move around while adults enjoy the outdoor seating nearby.
Easy to Reach
The Minneola location is conveniently located near Florida’s Turnpike, making it an easy destination from Orlando, Clermont, Winter Garden, and many surrounding Central Florida communities.

Parking
Because we visited during a busy weekend, parking required a little patience.
The popularity of the new location was obvious, so arriving a little earlier may provide an easier parking experience, especially on weekends.
What We Tried
Rather than trying everything on the menu, we decided to keep our visit simple.
We ordered the Pineapple Cider.
It was refreshing, smooth, and a perfect drink for a warm Florida afternoon.
Several food vendors were still preparing to open during our visit, giving us another reason to return in the future and experience the full food hall.
The Atmosphere
One of the biggest surprises wasn’t the drinks—it was how comfortable the entire property felt.
The open layout allows visitors to spread out naturally instead of feeling crowded.
Whether you’re visiting with friends, family, coworkers, or relatives, there seems to be enough room for everyone to enjoy the space without feeling rushed.

Based on our visit, yes.
Crooked Can Minneola offers much more than craft beer.
Its spacious outdoor lawn, relaxed atmosphere, family-friendly environment, and convenient Central Florida location make it a destination where people can comfortably spend several hours together.
As additional food vendors continue opening, we look forward to returning to experience even more of what the property has to offer.
